Converse has teamed up with vintage retailer Beyond Retro to breathe new life into old jackets on the upcycled Renew Chuck Taylor 70 High Upcycled Fleece. The classic silhouette undergoes its most sustainable construction yet, with aĀ fleece upperĀ made from four upcycled polar fleece coats. The soft and warm tri-panel uppers are red on one side, navy on the other with a black tongue and a grey heel strip. They feature 100% recycled polyester laces and a 100% recycled insole, and sit on a signature rubber outsole made with 12% recycled manufacturing waste.Ā The iconic logo patch on the ankleĀ and 'license plate' on the heel are still present, while an inner tongue label with Converse Renew branding and upcycle story finishes off the details.
